Funding for Short Study Abroad Sessions

I've found relevant programs for my interests in life sciences in Japan, but it is difficult to find scholarships because:

1) These programs are short. The longest one I could find is 4 weeks

2) They wouldn't be programs with my home institute, but instead through other US universities

3) They aren't necessarily language-based

So, I'm wondering does anyone know of any funding (scholarships, fellowships, grants, etc.) that support such short study abroad sessions?
