GPA Anxiety

Hi all! I recently took interest in studying abroad at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia during Spring 2021. However my college requires a 2.75 GPA and I'm falling a bit short – I have a 2.60 GPA. I was wondering if any of you had experiences with applying with a GPA that was less than what was required. Did it hinder you greatly? Was there a process you had to go through to get consideration for the spot despite your GPA?

I still have time to raise my GPA during Fall Semester and I fully intend on getting it to a 2.75 and I don't believe my school's study abroad program is too impacted but any advice/ insight would be greatly appreciated!
